I have been teaching kindergarten since 2003 at Brownstown Elementary in Conestoga Valley School District. I graduated from Shippensburg University with a bachelor’s degree in elementary and early childhood education. I have since gotten my master’s degree in education from Wilkes University. I believe the most important part of teaching is creating a safe and positive environment for children to learn. I promote self-confidence and a love of learning each day. I use interesting and motivating topics with hands-on materials to inspire children to want to learn. Beyond school, I love spending time with my two sons, being a soccer mom, and watching Steelers’ games with my family.
